We understand the importance of guiding young hearts towards a deeper understanding of God's love. We are passionate about creating an environment where children in grades 1-4 can experience the transformative power of the gospel in a fun and engaging way.

Here’s what to expect.

Find Kid Quest
Use the entrance by the outdoor fountain and the Home Front bookstore. Once inside, go past the escalators — Kid Quest is on the right. Here, our kids in grades 1-4 have worship and small groups.

Stop by the Kid Quest desk
If you are a first-time guest, come to the Kid Quest desk when you arrive. We will ask for some basic information and get you and your child to the right place.

Drop-off & pick-up
For safety, kids in grades 1–3 must be dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian.
Sunday Morning
JOIN US EVERY WEEK FOR
9:30 and 11:00am
Worship
This hour is for kids in grades 1-4 and meets in the Hunter Street Kids Worship Room. We use the Gospel Project curriculum, and each week includes fun songs, games, and drama/video elements, as well as an age-appropriate message.
8:00 and 9:30am
Small Groups
Our Kids’ small groups provide a fun, safe, and interactive environment for children to learn about God and the Bible through crafts, activities, and Bible Studies.
Midweek Kids
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS | 6:00-7:30pm
Midweek is our Wednesday night event with classes and activities for your entire family.

Kids’ Gospel Class
Our Kids’ Gospel class walks you and your child through the story of the Gospel—the story of who God is and what He has done for us through Jesus Christ, and what it means to be saved. Whether your child has recently trusted in Jesus as their Savior and Lord, or they are asking a lot of big, important questions, this class is very helpful to both you and your child.

Meet with Tori
Once you feel that your child has had a genuine salvation experience and there is evidence of faith in their life, the next step after the Kids’ Gospel Class is to schedule a meeting with Tori Moore, our Kids Minister, to discuss baptism. We encourage waiting until kids are 8 years old for baptism to give time for understanding and so that kids are old enough to remember their commitment and baptism. This meeting provides a great opportunity for individual conversations about your child’s faith and testimony.

Membership
Your child can officially join Hunter Street Baptist Church as a member (with your support and permission, of course) once they have professed their faith in Christ and been baptized. To do so, both you and your child will sign a Commitment Card to officially join the church.
CHECK-IN
Safety and Security
We take the safety and security of our kids and families very seriously!
We ask that all kids in Kid Quest check in when they arrive at church on Sunday and Wednesday.
Guests
Please come to our check-in station at the Kid Quest Desk. One of our team members will be happy to help check your child into our system.
Name Tags and Receipts
Kids younger than grade 3 will receive a parent receipt. Parents will need this receipt to pick up their child at the end of Small Group, Kids Worship, or Midweek activities.
