News and Events
Retreats, summer camps, Disciple Now weekends, girls’ events, guys activities are important facets of our Student Ministry. These events help students to seek God, be discipled, build community and serve others. Check back often to see the latest news and events.
The Student Building opens each Wednesday at 4:00pm. Dinner in the Café is served from 5:00-6:15pm (or before if food runs out); see menu below. MidWeek Worship for Middle School and High School begins at 6:30pm.

- Summer Girls Bible Study :: Tuesdays from 11:00-12:30
Calling ALL 7th-12th Grade Girls! Join us for a 6-week Bible Study this summer led by Amy. We will be doing The Quest by Beth Moore. In this 6-session Bible study, we will delve into Scripture to explore how God created us to seek after Him—a God who desires to be found and known. In this lifelong quest of faith, learn to develop your intimacy with Him and embrace the adventure that comes with living a life for God. We will meet on Tuesdays starting June 19 from 11:00-12:30 in the Senior Suite. We will then meet every Tuesday through July 31 (except July 3). Cost per girl is $5 to cover study material and will be collected the first week. You DO NOT have to buy the book! Register online.
- Guys’ Paintball Day :: July 18, 9:00am-noon
All guys grades 7-12 are invited to come battle it out on the paintball field at PIG (Paintball is Good) in McCalla. We’ll meet there are 9:00am to suit up. The cost is $30 per player. Register online to let us know you are coming.
- Girls' Summer Fun Day :: July 18, 9:00am-noon
7th-12th grade girls are invited to join us for a morning of princess movies while we learn from experts how to decorate cookies and arrange flowers. Each girl will come home with cookies and a beautiful arrangement of flowers. Snacks & lunch will be provided. Cost per person is $20. Register online so we can make preparations!
- Six Flags :: July 30
Students and parents are invited to join us for a day of fun at Six Flags over Georgia. Cost is $55 for most; $25 if you have a Season Ticket. Space is limited so register today!
- Senior Trip :: January 2-4, 2019
Upcoming High School Seniors are invited to join us January 2-4, 2019 as we attend Passion in Atlanta, GA. The cost for this trip is $200 which covers transportation, lodging, your Passion Ticket, and boxed lunch on January 3. To find out more about Passion click here. Register online.
2018 Medical Release Form
A notarized Hunter Street Medical Release Form is required each calendar year for all students participating in any off-campus trips or other ministry events (DNow, Summer Quest, etc). Now is a great time to go ahead and mark this off your list for 2018. You can download a form here or pick up a copy in the Student Building or Church Office. Notaries are available in the Church Office and Medical Release Forms can be turned in at any time.
