Hoover across from Long–Lewis Ford and operates as a part of the Magnification/Worship Arts ministry of Hunter Street
Baptist Church.

Tuition
Full semester tuition is payable to the individual teacher before lessons begin. In addition, students may be asked to
purchase music books and materials per teachers instructions. Alternate payment plans for tuition may be available.
Call the Academy office for details at 205.739.5350.
Attendance
All Arts Academy students must commit to a full semester (or summer term). This is to ensure the integrity of a student’s
experience in learning the individual instrument. It is also important that the student arrives a few minutes early to each
lesson. Any student arriving late will be taught only for the remaining minutes of their allotted lesson time.
Enroll Mid-Term
Students may enroll at any time during the semester based on availability. Tuition costs are pro-rated for the remainder
of the term at a per lesson price.
Make Up Lessons
It is the student’s responsibility to contact the teacher if a lesson is to be missed. If the teacher cannot be reached,
please contact the Arts Academy Office. Make-up lessons for cancellations are granted only for an excused absence in
which the teacher is notified at least six hours prior to the lesson. It is the Academy policy that an excused absence
consists of student illness, extreme emergency, or death in the family. An unexcused absence includes homework, athletic
events, or a school activity. Only one makeup lesson per semester will be granted.
