In the very heartland of America, many are lost, not having heard the life-changing message of the gospel. Join Hunter Street missions teams as we journey to Nebraska to work alongside others there who have a heart to see new churches planted in every county of the Cornhusker state. Work will occur on a regular basis in Lincoln (in partnership with Community Harvest Church) while opportunities to work in smaller towns with no meaningful evangelical witness will also abound.
Not surprisingly, the people of Nebraska are tied to the land and love the outdoors. Many of the opportunities for ministry will center on this natural affinity for hunting, fishing, and sports. Assisting with backyard Bible clubs/VBS, minor construction projects, and one-on-one evangelism are some of the specific other opportunites for those who work in Nebraska. Undergirding all of this is a commitment to prayer for followers of Jesus in this state and for the many who need to hear the good news.
