London, home to nearly 15 million people (greater metropolitan area) is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. In fact, someone from over 95% of the world's many ethnic groups lives here. London serves as the center of the once far-flung British Empire and many consider it, along with New York City, the financial center of the world.
Great Britain has given our own country much of its political and religious heritage. While there are signs of hope, the overwhelming majority of immigrants and the native British are lost without Christ. They need to hear the Gospel.
Hunter Street has embarked on a multi-year prayer partnership with Christians in London and has committed to working alongside them as well in telling many about Jesus.
Prayer, evangelism, and one-on-one presentation of the gospel are ways Hunter Street will serve in this great city. Spiritual preparation is vital for effective ministry in London.
