Rays of Hope Schedule
Rays of Hope will meet Sunday, September 12 in room W205 from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of
mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so
that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the
comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share
abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in
comfort too. If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation;
and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when
you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. Our hope for you
is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also
share in our comfort.
—2 Corinthians 1:3-7
fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. —Isaiah 41:10
Learning that you, or someone you love, has cancer can bring about a wide range of feelings and emotions. You don't have to go through this struggle alone.
Rays of Hope, for cancer patients, and their families and friends, is a cancer support ministry to give hope, comfort and encouragement. This is a place to share your fears, feelings, and stories with those who understand. Meetings are held periodically throughout the year.
