Marriage Mentoring

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Our church is committed to helping marriages prosper. Marriage Mentoring Ministry is offered several times during the year for couples who are interested in strengthening their marriages and developing a stronger marital foundation in Christ.

This mentoring ministry involves couples who have been trained and have strong mature marriages meeting with younger couples on a monthly basis for a pot-luck dinner followed by a Bible study. Each study will cover relevant and practical marriage related topics.

The groups are limited to five couples per mentor couple so the opportunity for building relationships between the dinners, getting to know one another and to learn from one another is enhanced. There is a commitment expected of each couple who becomes involved.
