About Hunter Street

Loving God and Loving People

Our church exists to lead people to Jesus Christ and church membership, develop them to Christ-like maturity, equip them for ministry and send them on mission in order to magnify God.

Hunter Street is a place where we can grow to be more like Jesus. It's where we can be equipped for ministry by discovering the gifts and talents God has given each of us.

Here we can learn to take the Gospel to neighbors, to people in our city and to those around the world.

Our Purpose

Our purposes can be summarized in two scriptures from the book of Matthew. They are commonly called "The Great Commandment" and "The Great Commission."

The Great Commandment
Love the Lord God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. All the law and prophets hang on these two commandments.
— Matthew 22:7-40

The Great Commission
Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
— Mathew 28:19-20
